Ariana Grande Manchester Benefit Concert To Air Live In 50+ Countries

One Love Manchester, the benefit concert being led tomorrow night by Ariana Grande, will be seen live in over 50 countries, BBC Worldwide said today. BBC One is airing the event in the UK, and yesterday it was reported that ABC/Freeform has the U.S. rights, while MTV’s digital platform will join Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in streaming the event live. Deals are also now in place to bring the show to Brazil, Germany, China, Australia, Italy, Mexico and Sweden among many others.

One Love Manchester will honor the victims and families affected by the May 22 suicide bombing at Grande’s Manchester Arena concert which left 22 dead and 116 injured. It will take place at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground beginning at 6:55 PM local tomorrow night and will feature performances by Grande, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Take That, Niall Horan, Little Mix, Robbie Williams and Black Eyed Peas.

All proceeds from the international distribution of TV rights will go towards the “We Love Manchester Emergency Fund,” set up by Manchester City Council in partnership with the British Red Cross.

Among the broadcast partners are Channel Nine/UKTV in Australia, RAI in Italy, NBC Universal/E! Latinoamérica in Latin America, Tencent in China, Globosat in Brazil and SVT in Sweden.
