Billboard Music Awards 2014: The Complete Winners and Nominees List

The 2014 Billboard Music Awards are officially underway, and host Ludacris is in the Las Vegas area code to hand out trophies to this year's chart-toppers.

Lorde and Imagine Dragons lead the pack of finalists with 12 each. The latter will battle it out for Top Artist versus Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry; Lorde is represented in the Top New Artist category.

Timberlake, Perry and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are finalists in 11 categories apiece.

The music awards show began live at 8 p.m. ET from the MGM Grand. Imagine Dragons, John Legend, OneRepublic, Luke Bryan, Jason Derulo, Miley Cyrus, Ricky Martin, Shakira and Robin Thicke are set to perform, among others.
