Singer and actress Naya Rivera, who has recently been at the center of conflicting reports about being let go from the FOX musical series "Glee," has been dropped from her record label, Columbia Records, according to a report by

Rivera, who signed with Columbia in 2011 but never released a full-length album with the label, was one of the first stars of "Glee" to land their own solo record contract. She released her debut single "Sorry in September," but it failed to make the Billboard Hot 100. Rivera's publicist denies that the singer was dropped by Columbia, calling the report "categorically false."

It's been a difficult year for the 27-year-old Rivera. In October 2013, Rivera got engaged to hip-hop artist Big Sean, who was featured on her single "Sorry." However, they abruptly called off the wedding last month, and the couple broke up.

And, in the last few days, rumors began to swirl that she had been fired from the popular FOX series, due to an on-going feud with co-star Lea Michele.

Reports in The Hollywood Reporter and other media outlets support this claim, however Rivera's reps are calling the reports "absolutely untrue."

Lea Michelle, who is also signed with Columbia, released her debut studio album "Louder" in February 2014, which debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. Another "Glee" co-star, Darren Criss, is also currently working on a record with Columbia.
