So far, Daniel Radcliffe, world's most powerful boy wizard, has been unable to cast a spell on Tony Awards voters.

With his snub on Tuesday morning — he was a favorite for a Best Actor nod for his work in Martin McDonagh's comedy "The Cripple of Inishmaan" — the former Harry Potter is now 0-for-3 when it comes to Broadway's highest honor. It's a wonder, too, because he's garnered critical acclaim for each of his outings on the Great White Way.

In 2008, he dropped trou for the drama "Equus," but all he received for the splashy performance was a Drama Desk nomination. Then, in 2012, Radcliffe wowed in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," but again came up short of a Tony nod, despite the show receiving nominations in nine other categories.

Hollywood actors earned several nods on Tuesday — Neil Patrick Harris, Chris O'Dowd and Bryan Cranston all earned Best Actor nominations — but stars like Denzel Washington and Michelle Williams joined Radcliffe in the snub category. Good company, but hardly comfort to these fans and experts, who reacted quite angrily on Twitter:
