As this season's fashion darling, Lupita Nyong'o faced ridiculously high expectations on the Oscars red carpet. Short of arriving in a dress made from naturally shed unicorn hair and illuminated by rainbows, she was going to disappoint someone. But the Best Supporting Actress winner delivered in this sternum-tastic, powder-blue pleated chiffon goddess gown from Prada. According to Lupita, she helped design the diaphanous, crystal-beaded number and chose the delicate color because it "reminds me of Nairobi … I wanted to have a little bit of home."
