Grape expectations: Brad and Angelina set to release their own wine

By Kat Giantis Slide 1 of 9

Drew Barrymore does it. So do Fergie and Richard Gere. Now Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are getting a taste of the celebrity wine business. The A-list amours have teamed up with the respected vino family Perrin to release a branded rosé in the United States starting next month. The wine is being produced at Brad and Angelina's 1000-acre, vineyard-laden Chateau Miraval estate in the south of France, where they've been based with their brood of six off-and-on since 2008.The Miraval Provence 2012 vintage pink rosé will be organic and presumably taste of money, fame and crayons, with subtle undertones of sexiness and scandal."We are intimately involved and quite enthused over the wine project with our friends the Perrin family," Pitt said through his rep.The betrothed lovebirds reportedly participated in blending sessions and gave their two cents on the shape of the bottle and design of the label, which reads "Bottled by Jolie-Pitt and Perrin." Look for the brand's white wine this summer and a red by next year. "If you knew Brad and Angelina, you would see they are in search of perfection in everything," Marc Perrin told Bloomberg News (in other words, "I know them and you don't, so neener-neener-neener").The parties will share equally in the profits."Brad and Angelina are very friendly, nice people and down to earth," adds Perrin, who met the powerhouse pair through mutual friends. "They're thinking long term."According to Bloomberg, Chateau Miraval previously made a rosé called Pink Floyd, in tribute of the band who recorded tracks for "The Wall" at the 17th-century estate.
