Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s life already resembles a hurricane, so his newest gig actually makes perfect sense.

The Emmy/Grammy/Tony Award-winning artist (best known for Broadway’s Hamilton and In the Heights) will lend his voice to Disney XD’s upcoming DuckTales reboot, the network announced Friday.

Miranda will play Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera, an intern working for Gyro Gearloose, Scrooge McDuck’s personal mad scientist. But Fenton has a secret: When he’s not tinkering away in Gyro’s lab, he’s fighting crime in Duckburg as his heroic alter ego, Gizmoduck!

“Growing up as a Cuban-American comics enthusiast, I was always hungry for a Latino hero to call my own,” co-producer Francisco Angones said in a statement. “In developing the new series, [executive producer Matt Youngberg] and I leapt at the opportunity to adapt DuckTales‘ marquee hero into a young scientist character with Latin-inspired roots.”

Miranda joins previously announced voice actors David Tennant (Scrooge McDuck); Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan (Huey, Dewey and Louie); Kate Micucci (Webby Vanderquack); Beck Bennett (Launchpad McQuack) and Toks Olagundoye (Mrs. Beakley).

Premiering this summer (exact date TBD), the new DuckTales has already been renewed for a second season. Watch a trailer for the reboot below, then drop a comment with your thoughts.
