'Jessie' Renewed for 4th Season by Disney Channel

By Jethro Nededog

Disney Channel has locked down its popular series "Jessie" for a fourth season.

The kids' cable channel has given an early renewal to the Debby Ryan-starrer while it's still currently airing its third season. It's set to begin production in Los Angeles in August for a January 2015 return.

"'Jessie' is a fan favorite for kids and families all around the world," Disney Channels Worldwide's executive vice president of original programming, Adam Bonnett, said in a statement.

"[Executive producer and creator] Pam Eells and the entire team behind 'Jessie' have made this television family a huge global hit," he continued. "Our audience gets to continue the journey with these characters, watching the Ross kids grow up with Jessie guiding the way for them."
