Kodaline back suicide prevention charity

6/18/2014

Irish rockers Kodaline have joined forces with a suicide prevention charity to help troubled youngsters. The band has teamed up with the Console organisation in Ireland following a 32 per cent spike in calls coming through on its emergency helpline over the last 12 months. Members of Kodaline want to spread the message that youngsters can contact the charity to talk through any worries they may have. Frontman Steve Garrigan says, "Most of us don't live in a perfect world. We have all been through difficult times, and we want people to know that Console is there if they are having dark days. "Console's free helpline is there 24/7, and there is no shame in talking about your worries - we all have them and we all need support sometimes."
