Magic Johnson Dishes Out a Ratings Assist to 'AC360'

By Tony Maglio

The only bigger get for "AC360" than Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, is the guy who has been the recipient of his wrath as of late.

NBA legend Magic Johnson was Anderson Cooper's guest on Tuesday, giving the show an even bigger bump than the night before when Sterling was the guest.

At 8 p.m., the CNN show averaged 725,000 total viewers, 301,000 in the key adults 25-54 demo. Those numbers represent a 39 percent increase in total viewers and a 64 percent jump in the demo, as compared to prior four-week average (521,000/183,000, respectively).
