Morgan Freeman's voice has become synonymous with all those things that are soothing and relaxing and serene. This is perhaps why the Science Channel's promotional clip for the fifth season of "Through the Wormhole" is so jarring.

It's a clip featuring Freeman talking about gravity, but there's something wrong with his dulcet tones. Normally, Morgan Freeman can make anything sound cool, but in this clip he raises his famous voice with the help of a helium balloon.

Suddenly, nothing makes sense anymore. It's Morgan Freeman, but it's a whole new take on what we've grown used to. Maybe he could voice a wise chipmunk in Disney's next movie.
