Nat Geo Debuting First Live Talk Show, 'Reel Talk Live'

National Geographic hopes to hook viewers with its first live talk show, "Reel Talk Live," following the Season 3 finale of "Wicked Tuna" on June 8.

The talk show, in the tradition of "Talking Dead," will provide a post mortem on the week's catch. Captains and crewmen will join host Mike Salk to answer fan questions.

They'll have plenty to talk about:Heading into the finale, last season's champion, Captain Tyler McLaughlin's fishing vessel Pin Wheel has fallen so far behind the fleet that he stands no chance of repeating his win. Season 1 champion Captain Dave Carraro of, wants to reclaim the honor, but faces stiff competition from captains Dave Marciano on Hard Merchandise and Paul Hebert on Miss Sambvca, as well as from TJ Ott aboard The Hot Tuna.

The show follows Gloucester, Mass., fishermen as they navigate the North Atlantic in search of bluefin tuna amid dwindling tuna populations.
