NBC has put in development an untitled comedy from former Happy Endings writer-produces, brothers Matthew and Daniel Libman, L.A. Clippers star Blake Griffin and The Panthers’ Ryan Kalil. Universal TV is the studio.

Written by Matthew and Daniel Libman, the untitled project centers on two brothers with a significant age difference who work together, despite being in very different places in their lives. The Libman brothers, who are eight years apart in age, executive produce with Griffin and Kalin via their production company, Mortal Media. Also executive producing  are former Telenovela exec producers Josh Bycel and Jon Fener under their overall deal with Universal TV. Noah Weinstein oversees development for Mortal Media.

Friends Griffin and Kalil teamed up earlier this year to launch the Los Angles-based production company Mortal Media, which already has set up a sequel to the Disney 1991 movie The Rocketeer. In TV, Griffin executive produces Okies of Bel Air, an animated comedy presentation for Fox, written by writer-comedian Sean O’Connor, which borrows some elements from Griffin’s life.

Matthew and Daniel Libman’s  credits also include Metalocalypse, Bad Teacher, and Marry Me. The duo are repped by UTA and attorney Ken Richman. Mortal Media is repped by UTA for TV.
