Oprah, David Geffen, Larry Ellison Considering Joint Bid for LA Clippers

Oprah Winfrey is in talks to enter a joint bid with David Geffen and Larry Ellison to purchase the Los Angeles Clippers.

"Oprah Winfrey is in discussions with David Geffen and Larry Ellison to make a bid for the Los Angeles Clippers should the team become available," Winfrey spokeswoman Nicole Nichols said in a statement.

NBA owners will vote on whether to force current Clippers owner Donald Sterling to sell the team after Sterling was handed a lifetime ban from the league stemming from a tape containing racists comments was leaked over the weekend.
