Rapper Scarface ready to retire

6/17/2014

Hip-hop veteran Scarface is ready to hang up the microphone for good after ruling out plans to reunite with his Geto Boys bandmates for their first album in nine years. The 43-year-old rapper, who rose to fame in the late 1980s, claims there is no bad blood between himself and fellow group members Willie D and Bushwick Bill, but he is not interested in recording a follow up to 2005's The Foundation. He tells AllHipHop.com, "We ain't doing no album (sic). That's out. F**k that. Not with me. They can do that s**t. Will and Bill can do that s**t, but I'm out." Scarface, real name Brad Terrence Jordan, also reveals he is preparing to step away from the limelight altogether. He says, "As a matter of fact, I'm going to be done with Scarface in a minute. I'm going to go Rock & Roll on y'all a**. I'm gone. I'm out this b***h... It's time to go." The rapper had previously announced he was working on his 12th solo album, Deeply Rooted, although a release date has yet to be set.
