Reality TV Stars Who Drive Us Crazy

Slide 1 of 12

We run down the annoying folks who either stole the spotlight or tried really hard to this past summerBy Vinnie Penn Special to MSN TVLook, I'm well aware that reality television relies on irking its audience, that a rise in the ratings can be in direct correlation to how annoying one character (if not more) can be. Me, I don't necessarily tune in to a show just to get ticked off. In order to tune in, it's either buzz or body: Either the show is all anyone is talking about or I caught a preview for an episode and one cast member is too gorgeous not to be further looked into (see Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, etc.). But, thanks in large part, I believe, to the "American Idol" audition episodes, there are a wealth of folks whose singular goal is to get in front of a TV camera and be outlandish or obnoxious, or both. Beyond those simply looking to captivate for the time it takes for a bathroom break, there have also been those who seized the secondary role they were in -- like Spencer Pratt from "The Hills" or Omarosa from "The Apprentice" -- and knew that the more they turned it up, the more we would tune in. Scott Disick, Mr. Kourtney Kardashian, might be a more recent and relevant reference point. This summer saw its fair share of reality raucousness, Disick included. Here is a list of those who either stole the spotlight or tried really hard to, annoyingly so: Bing: 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'Who's your least favorite reality star?
