Tabloid fact or fiction: A Kelly Ripa tell-all and a rift for Brad and Angelina?

Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie headed for a “$400 million divorce”? According to OK!, the celebrity couple is considering a permanent split. A “source” tells the magazine that Pitt is fed up with his wife because “she barely eats, she guzzles wine every night, and she smokes constantly.” The outlet’s insider further claims the “practically emaciated” Jolie also has “terrible mood swings,” and Pitt is “exhausted from spending so much energy trying to get her to take better care of herself.”

For her part, Jolie believes her husband might be “overstepping bounds” with Marion Cotillard on the set of their upcoming WWII thriller, Five Seconds of Silence. A source tells OK!, Jolie “would be furious if Brad and Marion were sleeping together.” The publication’s insider concludes, “It’s looking like the only way out of the jealousy and misery is a divorce.”

Gossip Cop looked into the magazine’s claims, however, and found out there are no marital problems between Pitt and Jolie. Furthermore, the allegations about her having health issues and him cheating are entirely untrue. A source close to the couple exclusively tells Gossip Cop the publication’s story is “nonsense.”

George Clooney and Julia Roberts were “caught cheating” on their respective spouses, according to the National Enquirer. The magazine says the two stars’ kissing has “destroyed” Amal Clooney’s marriage, and now the human rights lawyer is “demanding [a] $200 million divorce.”

The publication notes that for some time Amal and Julia have been “at each other’s throats,” with George’s wife warning “Julia to keep her hands off her husband.” A source tells the outlet, “Amal has had enough! She’s sick and tired of watching George cozy up to Julia.” “Amal feels like there’s only room for one woman in George’s life — and that’s Julia,” says the magazine’s source, adding, “She can never compete with their long history, and now Amal wants out. She wants a divorce.”

But Gossip Cop has learned there was no actual “cheating” between George and Julia, and there’s no divorce from Amal on the horizon. And there’s no feud between the two women, either. In fact, they just held hands at the Money Monster premiere at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this month. A rep for Clooney exclusively tells Gossip Cop that he denied the magazine’s allegations “with proof,” but the tabloid chose to “print it anyway.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s marriage is in “trouble,” reports In Touch, noting their five-year union has been “plagued by personal and royal tensions.” It has gotten so bad, says the magazine, “They’re heading towards couples therapy.”

A source tells the magazine, “They’re dealing with all the usual problems married couples face, but they also have the extra pressure of being in the public eye.” “Their issues are on an even bigger scale, and they’re constantly arguing at the moment about the pressure Kate is under, William’s attitude about it and how to raise their kids. They’re going through a very rocky patch,” adds the publication’s source.

But Gossip Cop investigated the tabloid’s claims, and they’re royally wrong. Granted, we’re not entirely surprised. The allegations are coming from the same outlet that falsely claimed in 2011 that Middleton “can’t get pregnant.” Of course, she’s since had two children, and she and Prince William are not now arguing about how they should be raised. An impeccable royal insider assures Gossip Cop the In Touch story is “not true.”

Scott Disick is in a “bizarre love triangle” with Kendall and Kylie Jenner, claims Life & Style. According to a source for the celebrity magazine, Disick is not only “carrying on” with both of Kourtney Kardashian’s younger sisters, but he’s also “fallen in love” with them.

“His feelings for Kendall and Kylie are real,” a Kardashian insider tells the magazine, adding, that the two young women are similarly taken with Disick and now “have developed a rivalry over him.” The publication’s source adds, “He saw them blossom into these beautiful young women and their childhood crushes turned into more mature feelings. Is it right? Of course not, but their family doesn’t play by the same rules as most families.”

Actually, it seems Life & Style doesn’t play by the rules of accurate journalism. Gossip Cop is assured Disick is not romantically interested in Kendall and Kylie Jenner nor are they into him. Of course, what’s more “bizarre” is that the tabloid actually published this inaccurate report at all. Gossip Cop already debunked a story in the magazine last month that wrongly claimed Disick was in a “new romance” with Kendall, as well as busted the outlet six months earlier for falsely reporting he was in a “shocking romance” with Kylie.

Michael Strahan is writing a “$10 million tell-all” book about Kelly Ripa, according to Star. The magazine says Strahan can’t wait to tell “his side of the story” about why he left “Live.” The publication further notes his book will allege “how icy-cold [Ripa] can be toward anyone she deems beneath her,” as well as delve into “very private, intimate stuff” about her marriage to Mark Consuelos.

Star claims Ripa mistreated Strahan during his entire tenure on the show, which is why “a tell-all would be the ultimate revenge.” An insider tells the magazine, “He’s seen the worst side of Kelly, and he could blow apart her carefully constructed image and ultimately humiliate her.”

Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Strahan, though, and we’re told there will be no tell-all. Our impeccable Strahan insider exclusively assures us, “There is no offer and no book, and there are no plans for one.” Gossip Cop is further told the tabloid’s tale of a Ripa expose is simply “not true.”
