Tabloid fact or fiction: 'Squad revolt' for Taylor Swift?

Selena Gomez and others are turning "against" Taylor Swift, reports In Touch, which further notes the "Bad Blood" singer's "squad" has started a "revolt." Swift is called a "liar" on the cover of the magazine, and inside its pages not only is her current feud with Kim Kardashian examined, but the publication rehashes her previous clashes with Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, John Mayer, and Calvin Harris.

The publication writes, "#SquadRevolt! Taylor Swift's perfect image crumbles as enemies, exes and even her A-list friends reveal the truth about her secrets and lies." The magazine then quotes an insider saying, "Some in her squad are talking about how relieved they are that the real Taylor is being exposed." The same source adds that Gomez is privately trashing Swift because she "recently found out some pretty horrible stuff Taylor has said about her, including about her weight and choice of boyfriends."

But if In Touch is going to call anyone a "liar," the tabloid might want to take a look at itself. Nearly two years before this piece, In Touch ran a "drug overdose" cover about Gomez. And last year, the magazine wrongly reported Gomez and Swift were going to remake "Laverne & Shirley." The outlet also recently embarrassingly claimed Swift and Harris were having "two weddings." Regardless, Gossip Cop is told the allegation that a feud is now brewing between Gomez and Swift is simply not true.

Gwen Stefani is "pregnant with two girls"? That’s what OK! is reporting on its cover this week.

A source reveals "Gwen is four months pregnant," and she and Blake Shelton are "expecting twins." The couple "began researching fertility doctors and evaluating their options several months ago," says the magazine's insider, who notes Stefani ultimately "conceived naturally." "Blake teared up when he found out" she was pregnant, and later "lost it" when he learned she was "carrying twin girls," adds the publication's source.

But the only thing fertile here are the imaginations of the writers at OK!. A rep for Stefani exclusively tells Gossip Cop the magazine’s story is entirely "untrue." She is not pregnant and most assuredly not having twins.

Of course, OK! is far from a credible source on the subject of the two singers. It was less than a month ago that the tabloid wrongly claimed Stefani and Shelton were headed for a split. And before that, the outlet first falsely reported Stefani was pregnant with twins in January and misfired with its two babies tale again in February.

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx’s "wedding is off," according to Star magazine. A source tells the publication that after Holmes saw photos of Foxx holding hands with a "mystery blonde" in Miami, the actress was "totally devastated and incredibly hurt." "She wasn’t expecting something like this to come out of the blue," adds the outlet’s insider.

The magazine goes on to report that shortly afterwards, Holmes and Foxx had a "tense" conversation at a restaurant in Toronto. "He swore nothing happened, yet still begged Katie's forgiveness, pleading with her not to end their relationship," says Star's source. But Holmes has "decided to press the pause button on their wedding plans," reveals the publication’s insider.

While very dramatic, the story is entirely inaccurate. Gossip Cop checked in with reps for both Foxx and Holmes, and we're assured there's no romance between the two. Holmes' rep exclusively confirmed the actress "isn't marrying anyone," while Foxx's rep told Gossip Cop the report is "completely untrue and totally fabricated."

What's most interesting is that Star reported just four months ago on a cover that Foxx and Holmes were already "married!" Not only did Gossip Cop exclusively bust that fabrication, but we also debunked an equally untrue story by the same publication last month that wrongly claimed Holmes was pregnant with Foxx’s baby.

Khloe Kardashian is pregnant with Lamar Odom's baby, reports the new issue of Life & Style. But it’s a "nightmare" for Kardashian because her estranged husband, writes the magazine, is "wasted and out of control."

An insider leaks to the publication that Odom and Kardashian "were still sleeping together in June," but because the former basketball player is struggling with his addictions, Kardashian is "more stressed than ever" and "barely eating." The source further reveals, "She's done with Lamar, for good. That's why a pregnancy, which she should be overjoyed with, has become her absolute worst nightmare."

While there are very real issues between Kardashian and Odom, a baby isn't one of them. She is NOT pregnant, and this "nightmare" story is untrue. It also comes from the same outlet that wrongly said Kardashian was pregnant in March with Odom's baby, only to then say Kardashian was having a baby in June, but didn't know who the "daddy" was. Well, it's still not Odom, and she's still not pregnant.

Matt Damon and Alicia Vikander are in a secret romance, reveals Star. The magazine reports Damon took his Jason Bourne co-star out to dinner earlier this month at a sushi restaurant in Sydney before the Australian premiere of their new film, and other diners began to "wonder if Matt and Alicia might be more than co-stars."

Noting how Damon has been married to Luciana Barroso for more than 10 years and Vikander has been dating Michael Fassbender for two years, the publication's insider says the Jason Bourne co-stars "were acting a lot cozier [at dinner] than when their significant others are around. Matt certainly wasn’t acting like a married man that night." The magazine’s source adds they were "inseparable" at the film’s premiere, and even "walked in holding hands."

The publication's alleged "spy," however, is wrong. Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Vikander, who tells us that she and Damon never even had dinner together in Australia. And more importantly, there's absolutely nothing romantic going on between the two. We're exclusively assured that the tabloid’s entire story is "a lie."

Of course, we're not particularly surprised by the magazine's tall tale. Gossip Cop just recently busted Star for falsely alleging that Damon and his wife were in the midst of a "marriage meltdown." We also debunked the tabloid's August 2015 claim that Vikander and Fassbender were "on the rocks."
