Terrence Howard accused of skipping spousal support payments to third ex-wife

6/17/2014

Actor Terrence Howard is facing more legal problems from his ex-wife Michelle Ghent amid accusations he owes her $431,000 (£269,375) in spousal support and attorneys fees. The Iron Man star split from his third wife in February, 2011, days after the couple celebrated its first wedding anniversary, but the divorce was only finalised last spring (13), after two years of bitter fighting. He was ordered to pay his ex $5,800 (£3,625)-a-month in spousal support until 2016, but she claims Howard has failed to honour the majority of payments, amounting to $325,000 (£203,125). Ghent also alleges he owes her an additional $106,000 (£66,250) for legal fees, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.com. Meanwhile, Howard has also fallen out with his legal representatives - sources tell the website editors his attorneys have filed papers asking a judge to excuse them from the case due to "a total and complete break down in communications". Howard has since moved on from his ugly split from Ghent - he wed his girlfriend Miranda last autumn (13).
