George Clooney treats Amal to romantic dinner, helicopter rideWhere has George Clooney been hiding this hopeless romantic streak all these years? On Tuesday night, the recently betrothed Oscar winner enjoyed a candlelit dinner with fiancée Amal Alamuddin at a restaurant in Venice, Italy. The couple, who recently escaped to the English countryside, arrived and exited via motorboat with George's bodyguard and the bodyguard's girlfriend, reports People. The quartet kicked the night off with a round of Prosecco. From there, the group moved on to white wine and a feast featuring sautéed shellfish, smoked tuna, mussel soup, crayfish and artichoke risotto and charcoal grilled seabass. "The mood was relaxed and informal," a spy tells E! News of the two-hour-plus meal. "Everyone was enjoying wine."Clooney, 53, and Alamuddin, 36, left Venice the next morning via helicopter, because of course they did.Meanwhile, it's looking more and more likely that the couple will tie the knot in Italy this September, but not, as widely speculated, at his Lake Como estate. According to People, they want a "more secluded" location for the nuptials, which will be followed by a party for the human rights lawyer's family in Lebanon.
