Leonardo DiCaprio: My work interferes with my love lifeThe seemingly endless train of supermodels that have appeared on Leonardo DiCaprio's arm over the course of his career were apparently all a bit doomed if they were looking to spend their lives at Leo's side. Not because Erin Heatherton, Bar Refaeli, Gisele Bundchen and Amber Valetta (among others) aren't marriage material. No, the fault lies with Leo's job. "Six months of being on location or being off in Morocco or someplace like that is not the best thing for a relationship," the "Great Gatsby" star admits in the May issue of Esquire, which, by the way, is touting him as "the most famous man in the world." But he's only recently come to appreciate that fame."I always thought of myself as the underdog because I didn't have nice enough clothes or maybe my hair didn't look good," he explains. "And so you have to understand – getting your foot in the door is like winning the lottery. It's literally like winning the lottery if you get to have a career. And I've always felt, OK, now I've gotten this shot, and I'm lucky to have gotten this shot, and if I don't do this to the best of my ability — if I don't work my ass off and make a life of it — I've squandered this incredibly golden opportunity. And that's always been what has propelled me."
