The Shortlist for April 7

Slide 1 of 5

Duchess Kate, Prince William and Prince George arrive in New ZealandLooking lovely in a red Catherine Walker coat, a Gina Foster hat and a silver fern-shaped brooch, Duchess Kate got her first taste of New Zealand culture on Monday as soon as she stepped off the plane with her husband, Prince William, and son, Prince George. According to E! News, the couple's first stop was Wellington's Government House, where they met Maori elders who treated them to a welcome ceremony called the Powhiri. (Little George, whose new nanny came along for the tour, stayed inside during the ceremony to avoid the rainy weather.) Following the ceremony, the royal family headed to a private residence, where they'll recuperate from the flight for two days before their official tour itinerary begins on Wednesday.
