Jessica Simpson opens up about weight loss after second babyThat $4 million Weight Watchers deal probably provides some inspiration, but Jessica Simpson's post-baby weight loss regime also involves the babies themselves. "With both kids I'm running up and down my stairs a million times," Simpson recently told USA Today, referring to her 1-year-old daughter, Maxwell, and 6-month-old son, Ace. "Kids can keep your metabolism going." Simpson added that she gained much more weight during her first pregnancy than her second because she "vegged out and laid around," while pregnant with Maxwell. She eventually lost 50 pounds after Maxwell arrived, though, and maintained a rigorous exercise regimen and healthy eating plan when she became pregnant for the second time. Still, she said, "being pregnant for two years takes a toll."These days, the 33-year-old mom clocks in 45 minutes a day with a trainer and tries to walk four miles daily, often with her fiance, Eric Johnson, whom she credits as her stand-in "therapist" during their strolls. Despite all her hard work, though, she says her body is still the subject of criticism. "It does get old having people harping on how much you weigh or your body after pregnancy," she admits. "People are going to pick me apart no matter what I do. I'm always going to have critics." RELATED: Jessica Simpson goes makeup-free on date night
