Lindsay Lohan sued by motorist over 2012 incidentShe's clearly trying to put her best foot forward post-rehab, but Lindsay Lohan's past apparently isn't done with her yet. On Wednesday, a man named James Johnson filed suit against the actress in Los Angeles, claiming that she rear-ended him with her rented Porsche 911S on the Pacific Coast Highway on July 8, 2012, at 11:42 a.m. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnson alleges that a bag of pills and a water bottle containing what smelled like alcohol were discovered in her car after she hit him when traffic slowed down on the highway. THR notes that in the police report from the incident, officers did not find Lohan to be driving under the influence. Johnson is suing both Lohan and her production company, claiming that the latter should not have allowed her to drive a car when she was unfit to do so. He says that she broke multiple laws by driving recklessly and possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and that "great physical, mental, and nervous pain and suffering" have plagued him since the accident. Having apparently observed the deep pocket potential of the woman who hit him, Johnson is demanding damages and attorney fees. Lohan was filming the Lifetime bomb, "Liz & Dick" at the time of the accident.
