Jesse Eisenberg is on The Market.

The Academy Award-nominated star of The Social Network, in collaboration with J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions, will star in, direct and produce the half-hour comedy The Market, our sister site Deadline reports.

The series (which has not yet been shopped) revolves around Harold, a recent widow who moves in with his son Stan (Eisenberg). Having both lost their jobs due to the economy, father and son must navigate the harsh realities of the job market.

While better known for his roles on the big screen, Eisenberg’s TV credits include appearances on Modern Family and The Newsroom.
