'Walking Dead' predictions

Slide 1 of 11

What could happen in the second half of Season 3By Robert IsenbergSpecial to MSN TV"The Walking Dead" may be the most unpredictable show in TV history. You never know when "walkers" will appear. You never know who's keeping a terrible secret. You never even know who will survive to the end of a given episode. There only certainty is that there are no certainties. The third season returns this week, and by now we've learned a difficult truth: This post-apocalyptic world is completely unfair. We might have rooted for Lori or Dale, but... they died. We wanted Rick to find Sophia, but he didn't, and then she turned into a walker, and then he had to shoot her. Shane was always a psycho, but he actually got to survive for two entire seasons. As we watch "The Walking Dead," our experience is divided between (a) what we wish would happen and (b) what actually happens. And horror and tragedy usually win out.If you haven't read the graphic novel (like we haven't), you probably have no idea how Season 3 will unfold. Using only what we've seen so far, we came up with predictions for the next seven episodes -- both what "should" happen (if life were fair and just), and what will "likely" happen (horrible, awful things). With episode titles like "I Ain't a Judas" and "This Sorrowful Life," we probably can't expect puppies and rainbows."The Walking Dead" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on AMC.Want more TV?
