Xbox rocks Bonnaroo with live streams

Xbox Originals

As music fans converge on Manchester, Tenn., for the 2014 Bonnaroo music and arts festival, Xbox is preparing to bring its global online audience personalized, interactive access to the festival’s 13th annual presentation. From Thursday, June 12 through Sunday, June 15, Xbox will be the exclusive broadcasting partner with promoters Superfly Presents, serving as home to the first and only interactive destination for Bonnaroo.

Via a new Bonnaroo app, Xbox will enable fans on Xbox One and Xbox 360 to enjoy a virtual festival experience featuring performances from all five festival stages as well as Haybale Sessions featuring more intimate performances from featured artists.

That lineup will again reflect Bonnaroo’s expansive array of genres, with 2014 headliners including Elton John, Kanye West, Jack White and scores of other acts spanning pop, rock, hip-hop, rap, country, EDM, world music and more. A 2014 Highlights section in the Xbox/Bonnaroo experience will enable fans to catch an archived stream of a missed performance (or watch a favorite set again) for up to 90 days after the festival.
