CDC: 14,000 New Flu Cases Every Week

Flu cases are surging throughout the nation. The newest numbers from the CDC show the virus has become widespread in 43 states. The South, Midwest, and East Coast have been hit particularly hard. Each week there are 14,000 new cases. Reportedly, 20 children have died from the flu since late 2016. Total numbers won't be known until the end of flu season. However, according to the CDC, this is looking to be a relatively average flu season.
