Critically Endangered Malayan Tapir Born at UK Zoo
A very rare and very cute Malayan tapir was born at Chester Zoo in the United Kingdom. Little Nessa was born to parents Margery and Betong after a 391-day pregnancy. These adorable stripes and spots Nessa has are temporary. Baby tapirs are born with them so they are camouflaged in the forest. After about six months, their markings will start to change. There are less than 2,500 Malayan tapirs on the planet. Inside Edition Digital has more.
