School Bus Driver Crochets Over 7,000 Hats for Students
New York school bus driver Patty Reitz crocheted hats for every one of her school bus kids for the past 18 years. Back in 2005, Reitz picked up crocheting as a hobby. She buys all the yarn and says it takes an hour and a half to make each one. Reitz brings her supplies on the bus and crochets before school lets out. Her priceless reward is seeing the looks on the children's faces after receiving their homemade hat.
