
Sumatran rhinos declared extinct in Malaysia after last female dies of cancer
The last female Sumatran rhino in Malaysia has died of cancer. Her death came less than six months after the country's last male Sumatran rhino died. Deforestation and poaching have contributed to the extinction in Malaysia.
