Technology Being Built to Explore Antarctica's Climate
Antarctica is one of the coldest places on the planet and perhaps one of the hardest places to travel to. Researchers say they’ve built a new device to explore the continent in hopes to fight climate change. It’s an electric rover called “IceCube” that will collect data. The contraption took two years to build. It runs on solar power to do its research. The prototype is currently being tested in Norway before it will be dropped on the South Pole.
