Joe Biden Tells Activist 'You Should Vote For Trump' During Greenwood Town Hall

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden told a man to “vote for Trump” when asked about ending deportations at a meeting in Greenwood, South Carolina, on November 21. Julia Terruso, a Philadelphia Inquirer reporter covering the town hall meeting at Lander University, transcribed the exchange between Biden and Carlos Rojas. Rojas is a volunteer organizer with Movimiento Cosecha, an advocacy group fighting for the rights of undocumented immigrants in the United States. This video, taken by John Kinard, of Columbia, South Carolina, shows the exchange in which Biden can clearly be heard telling the man: “You should vote for Trump.” Biden told the crowd he would not stop all deportations and in response, the crowd began chanting not one more deportation. The Democrat candidate said if a person commits a felony, they could be deported.
