
Pizza-spinning chef helps others get a slice of the American dream
Chef Hakki Akdeniz is famous for his fiery pizza-spinning technique, but his road to success was not easy. Akdeniz arrived in the U.S. from Turkey in 2001 with little to his name, and was homeless before he could save up and open his own shop. Now he owns multiple stores and is driven to give back to those in need.
