Student Pilot Spots Crocodile With Pig in Its Mouth in Queensland Waters

While taking a flying lesson with Townsville Helicopters on August 16, Queensland resident Danielle Moy spotted an example of nature at its most fearsome in the wetlands of Cape Cleveland, as a crocodile gripped a pig in its jaws. In footage captured by Moy’s instructor, Sam Arnold, the enormous saltwater crocodile can be seen in the water with the prone pig caught in its mouth. Arnold told the Daily Mail that the crocodile was “probably the biggest” he’s seen, adding that it was likely stashing the feral pig away to eat at a later time.
