How to Remove Nail Polish Stains From Clothes
Due to its tacky texture, nail polish can be one of the trickier stains to remove from clothes. It is possible, however, and it’s simpler than you might think. This video shows you how to remove nail polish stains from clothes with materials you probably already have on hand, such as cotton swabs, soap, and even nail polish remover. First, use a dull object to gently lift as much excess polish from the fabric as possible. Then, use a cotton swab soaked with an oily soap (or nail polish remover for stubborn stains) to treat the remaining spot, working from the outside toward the center. Lastly, rinse the stain under cool water while being careful not to spread it. Tip: Don’t put your garment in the dryer until the stain is fully removed.
