Trump Speaks to Rioters, Makes More False Claims of Fraud

Pres. Donald Trump has spent months falsely claiming that if Democrats take power, they will kill newborn babies, 'destroy our country,' 'abolish the Senate,' tear down the Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial, destroy the Constitution, ban religion, burn cities to the ground, establish Venezuelan-style socialism, and 'hurt God,' warning, 'You will not be safe in Biden's America.' Earlier today, he repeatedly demanded that his supporters 'fight.' Hours later, they did just that, storming the U.S. Capitol and forcing lawmakers to evacuate, barricade doors, and shelter under desks. Some individuals broke windows as they forced their way into the halls of Congress. At least one person has reportedly been shot by law enforcement. In a video message to the rioters, he claimed to call for 'peace' while repeating the false claims of election fraud that prompted the riot.
