
Ukraine will fight for Bakhmut ‘as long as we can’: Zelenskyy
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says he expects a major Russian offensive in the coming weeks.
In his nightly address, Zelenskyy said Moscow is increasing pressure on several fronts, ahead of the first anniversary of the war on February 24th.
The battle for control of the eastern city of Bakhmut has been intensifying, with Russia deploying more troops.
Zelenskyy has also called for Ukraine’s rapid accession to the European Union.
