The 20-year-old pop star made history with her performance on the Pyramid Stage on Friday (24.06.22) as she became the youngest ever solo artist singer to fill the slot. She was also joined by her brother and songwriting partner Finneas O'Connell at various moments in her set. After wowing the crowds with her biggest hits such as 'bad guy' and 'Happier than Ever', Billie used her slot to express her dismay that Supreme Court’s reversal of 1973’s landmark Roe v Wade ruling, which is now set to outlaw abortion for millions of women in the US. She said: "It's a dark day. I’m just going to say that, because I can’t say anything else now." But the 'Ocean Eyes' hitmaker was quick to reinvigorate the mood amongst her fans and told them to "scream" their worries away. She said: "So here’s what I want you to do – whatever’s going on in your mind, something you’re wasting time worrying about, something you can’t just get out of your head – I want you to flail around, and scream and stomp. “I want you to feel loose and free."
