GoFundMe has revealed the most generous countries in the world for 2022. The crowdfunding platform revealed that Ireland was the most generous country for the fourth year in a row. Nearly three-quarters of a million donations were made in Ireland throughout 2022. Globally one donation was made every second to help people across the globe. After Ireland, the most generous countries in the world were the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Ukraine dominated the donation charts this year, with the top three fundraisers being Ukraine-related. GoFundMe revealed $250m was raised for Ukraine across the website and US platform Classy in 2022.
