Adults over 60 scammed out of $1.7 billion in 2021, FBI says
Three years ago, a woman received a phone call warning that her bank records had been found in a car with illegal drugs. She paid the caller hundreds of thousands of dollars to avoid trouble. She, like thousands of people over 60, was scammed. Jeff Pegues takes a look.
