Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter Accused of Sexual Assault
The Backstreet Boys' big Christmas special was canceled by ABC and Disney after a woman claimed band member Nick Carter raped her in 2001 when she was just 17. In a lawsuit, Shannon Ruth says Carter invited her "to join him on his tour bus" after a concert in Tacoma, Washington. She claims Carter gave her “a red-colored drink" with a "strange taste" he called "VIP juice" before pushing her onto a bed and attacking her.
