Bioluminescent Algae Light Up Along Tasmanian Beach
Evening beachgoers at Howrah, outside Hobart, Tasmania, were delighted by the bioluminescent algae along the shore, video shared on November 25 shows. Timelapse footage captured by Simon Tons shows locals observing the bioluminescence and stirring up the water at Howrah Beach. “Dusk soon became dark and a crowd of excited people soon gathered to witness this strange and beautiful [phenomenon],” he said.
