Dozens of Swimmers Accused of Harassing Dolphins
Drone video captured the moment 33 swimmers were caught chasing after a pod of spinner dolphins in Honaunau Bay, Hawaii. According to authorities, the swimmers appear to be "aggressively pursuing, corralling, and harassing the pod." Federal law makes it illegal to swim within 50 yards of spinner dolphins in Hawaii since they are nocturnal. Once the swimmers returned to land, they were all issued citations.
