Fans Descend on Buenos Aires City Center to Pay Homage to Diego Maradona
Fans of Diego Maradona gathered in central Buenos Aires on the night of November 25-26, chanting, waving football paraphernalia, and lighting fireworks following the death of the iconic soccer player. Three days of morning were declared in the country, with fans able to pay their respects at the Casa Rosada, where Maradona’s body was lying in state.
