‘I'm A Celeb’ Star Blames Ant And Dec For Making Her 'most Trolled Contestant'

Paralympian Hollie Arnold blamed I'm A Celeb presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly for causing trolling by fans. Hollie, who made history as the first disabled I'm A Celeb contestant, claims her memories of her time on the show were tarnished by trolls and the duo. Ant and Dec made an ongoing gag about Hollie using her MBE title when introducing herself to her fellow campmates in 2020. Hollie says the abuse she received from trolls made her feel "ashamed" and even led to her removing the title from her social media accounts. She explained: "For the time being I'm using PLY - for Paralympian - but I shouldn't have to, I should feel proud of what I have achieved". After being voted out and reading people's comments about her, she believes the hosts were partially responsible for encouraging the hate. Hollie revealed she had introduced herself using her MBE as instructed by producers. Whenever we were filming I was told to introduce myself with my title. "It made me look like I go around flaunting my MBE, which I don’t," said Hollie Arnold.
