It Took 3 Minutes for This Package to Be Stolen From Someone’s Doorstep
For the first time ever, Black Friday online shopping is expected to surpass in-store shopping amid the coronavirus pandemic. With all those packages being delivered, there has been a rise in pandemic porch pirates. Thefts of packages left in buildings and front porch doorsteps are surging nationwide — a whopping 1.7 million packages are being stolen per day. Inside Edition’s Investigative Unit left a speaker in a shipping box on a Brooklyn doorstep, and watched as it was snatched minutes later.
