Players Championship: All but one of top 50 in World ranking headed to TPC Sawgrass

The 2021 Players Championship is already living up its' nickname as 'Golf's 5th Major.'. With 49 of the top 50 players in the world teeing off at TPC Sawgrass, it's set to have one of the strongest fields of the year. The lone wolf out? Matthew Wolff himself, who withdrew and did not give the PGA Tour a reason for his decision. The only other golfer who is eligible and did not commit to play? Two-time Players winner, Tiger Woods, who suffered severe leg injuries in a car wreck last month. The tournament will allow 20% of the usual number of fans it permits. Tickets for the event are sold out.
