Thanksgiving Grandma and Teen Continue Tradition After Husband Dies of COVID-19
A Thanksgiving tradition continued despite the absence of one person. Four years ago Wanda Dench sent a text message to her grandkids inviting them to Thanksgiving dinner. She got one of their numbers wrong and the message accidentally went to Jamal Hinton, a stranger. Wanda and her husband Lonnie decided to welcome him into her Arizona home anyway. This year, they celebrated with an empty seat. Lonnie passed away in April from the coronavirus. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
