These people faked it and got caught. In 2017, a sign language interpreter was called out after it was revealed she wasn’t qualified for her job. In 2015, a man used a fake Oscar trophy to get free items and gain access into popular Hollywood hotspots. In 2016, what appeared to be a robbery ended up being a proposal that officers and the “robbers” were in on. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.
